PARISH STEWARDSHIP 2017
At this time we ask you to recommit to the financial support of our parish by completing a new annual pledge card.
This pledge helps our parish budget for the upcoming year.
Submitting a pledge card is necessary every year whether you give by envelope or electronically. Pledge cards are mailed, they are available in the pews of the church, or you can submit your pledge online.
When you turn in your pledge early it saves the parish money in followup costs.
No matter how much you plan to give in 2017, please complete a pledge card and send it in
- even a returned pledge for prayers is appreciated. Thank you!
—If you have any questions regarding Parish Stewardship,
please contact the parish office at (425) 392-5516 or by email.—

As we begin our focus on Stewardship, we ask you to view this message from Archbishop J. Peter Sartain as he shares his thoughts about stewardship. Thank you!
What is the right amount to give? When you are at peace about the size of your gift - when you do not find yourself making excuses for its size (either too big or too small) and you know in your heart that you have been completely honest with yourself and God - then your gift is the proper size. While God gives it all, it is your faithful cooperation with His gifts that enables us to do so much, from our service to the poor and most vulnerable, to formation and enrichment of our communal prayer & worship.
Everything we have and everything we are is a gift from God.
Our call to Stewardship encourages us to share our GIFTEDNESS - with no strings attached and no conditions. We share these gifts out of our love for God and gratitude to Him.
Our parish is alive with over 80 ministries! These ministries cannot serve without your support of time, talent, and treasure. Your unique Gifts help us spread the Good News of Jesus to our greater community in Issaquah and beyond! As you are committing to support our parish financially this coming year, please prayerfully consider how you plan to share your unique Gifts of Time and Talent in 2016. Look through our Ministry Booklet and/or sign-up now to put your time and talent to work for those who benefit from our wonderful ministries. Thank you!
This is what Stewardship is all about. Stewardship is a way of life.
“Thus should one regard us:
as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.”
-1 Corinthians 4:1
Five Principles of Stewardship of Time, Talent & Treasure
1. Planned: A decision that requires thought ahead of time, not giving merely what we have left.
2. Proportionate: Our giving is proportionate to how God has blessed us.
3. Sacrificial: We give back to God first, not last; giving up some of our wants and desires.
4. Thankful: Our offering is a grateful response to the immense love God has shown for us.
5. A Gift: Like any gift to a loved oen, what we give is given without reservation or condition.
