St. Joseph Church has a parish app through Diocesan, which allows parishioners to access daily readings, the bulletin and Father Todd’s homily, among other functions. The app also allows the church to send message notifications to parishioners and includes group discussion boards for ministry groups within the parish.
Downloading the app
The app is available for both Apple and Android users and can be found under the name “myParish App” in both the App Store and Google Play. Once you have downloaded the app, it will prompt you to select a parish. You can find us as “St. Joseph Church,” with our church address in Issaquah (220 Mountain Park Blvd NW, Issaquah)
Creating an account
Creating an account is a great way to personalize your app even more. The most notable difference with having an account registered is that you will be able to have access to the “Groups” function within the app. To create an account, you will be required to include both your first and last name, as well as your birthday. Your age will be visible when participating in group discussions (for safe environment purposes); however, your actual birth date will not be available to anyone except the limited number of staff in the parish office who have access to our admin account. Please note that an account is not required to receive parish-wide messages, or to access any of the other basic features including Mass times and scheduling Confession.
