Youth Ministry

St. Joseph is dedicated to leading you closer to Christ and into a deeper knowledge and love of Him and of your Catholic faith through fellowship, catechesis, and fun! Bring a friend! Be bold, be faithful, be original, be Catholic!

Youth Faith Formation for the 2018-19 school year is just around the corner!
We’ve been working hard to make adjustments to the programs to best utilize our resources & meet the needs of the youth of our parish. After much discernment, we’re excited to let you know about some changes going into effect this year.
Please join Carlie for a short parent orientation & registration in the St. Francis room
after each Mass over the weekend of Sept. 8/9.

Youth Grades 6th-8th will meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:45 - 8PM.
We’ve tried fitting all faith formation in on Sunday, but for many reasons, it did not allow for effective ministry. We truly wish we could find an ideal meeting time for all involved. If this new time won’t work for you, please know we are still here to serve as a support to parents as the primary educators of their children’s faith. Contact Carlie if you’d like to receive some resources for at home faith formation opportunities.

Youth grades 9-12 have some exciting changes to look forward to this coming school year!
We’re using a new program called Y-Disciple that will focus on forming community and growing in faith within small group communities. Meeting times will vary to accommodate different schedules.

Please contact Carlie Betz if you have any questions or would like further information: (425) 392-5516 x226 or by email.

If you'd like to help to offset the costs and provide sponsorship for a teen, please contact Carlie in the parish office. Purchasing Brown Bear Car wash tickets is a great way to contribute! Contact Carlie by email and purchase at the following prices: $8 each, a pack of 5 tickets for $35, or a pack of ten tickets for $60. Thank you so much for your continued support of the youth of St. Joseph parish!
