Youth Faith Formation
Registration for this program year WILL OPEN IN FALL 2024!
RESTORING THE GARDEN Youth FORMATION IS DESIGNED TO Help guide our youth, grades 6-12, through discussions about our faith in a small groupS.
Students will be given materials to view on their own once per week, and then they will meet weekly in small groups with their peers and leaders for discussion. Monthly large group activities will take place on the first Sunday of the month during Cor Dominicae. We have a handful of other large group activities for our youth formation students. Steubenville NW 2024
July 12-14th, 2024 in Spokane
Steubenville Youth Conferences are for high school youth (incoming 9th through graduated 12th graders). Early Bird Registration is $350.00 which includes conference registration fees, hotel room at The Centennial for 2 nights, 5 meals, and transportation. Click HERE to register as an attendee or chaperone. Chaperones must be 21 years of age and have the Environmental safety Training at the time of the conference.
The Search Begins
Modified for teens, The Search Begins invites middle and high school students to consider the deepest questions of the human heart. The series considers death, sorrow, happiness, science, and faith. It features teen commentary and shorter segments to facilitate honest conversations between teens and their youth ministers, parents, teachers, and peers. The Search Begins classes will be held on the following dates:
High School Meeting Dates (Sunday evenings 5:30-6:30pm): January 7th, January 21st, February 4th, March 3rd, March 17th, April 14th, April 28th
Middle School Meeting Dates (Wednesday evenings 7:00-8:00pm): January 10th, January 24th, February 7th, March 6th, March 20th, April 17th, May 1st

Confirmation Classes
In the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized person is “sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit” and is strengthened for service to the Body of Christ. It gives us a special strength of the Holy Spirit to spread and defend the faith by word and action as true witnesses of Christ, to confess the name Christ boldly, and never be ashamed of the Cross (see CCC 1303). Registration for 2024-25 will open in the Fall.
Middle School Youth Group
Teens in 6th-8th grade are invited to join us for fun, fellowship, outreach projects and make new friends! Our Middle School Youth Group meets every Wednesday night in the Carlo Acutis (Youth Room) from 7pm-8pm. Interested in joining us? Contact Jennifer at jcarney@sjsissaquah.org.
High School Youth Group
